Where in the World Is Elizabeth?
I just thought of an interesting little competition. While I am gone tripping, please leave a comment, guessing where you think I am and why. And since I will not have access to the Internet, no one will see anyone's answers until I return so there will be no influence one upon another!
I will send a surprise gift to everyone who guesses correctly.
Jane, thank you, I did take time for myself but only because my luggage was delayed and I ended up stranded for two play days in Dubai, UAE.
Mom of the PG, I was not in South America although I have spent a good deal of time there and am coincidentally wearing a dress from Brazil as I type this.
Pennyak, I would love to go to Australia since my cousin lives there; however, that was not the destination for this trip.
Mystery revealed: I went to Afghanistan. Am now back (obviously). Thanks for playing the game.
I am the mother of 4 birth children (plus 3 others who lived with us) and grandmother of 2, all of them exceptional children. Married for 42 years, I grew up in Maine, live in California, and work in many places in education, linguistics, and program management. In my spare time, I rescue and tame feral cats and have the scars to prove it. A long-time ignorantly blissful atheist converted by a theophanic experience to Catholicism,
I am now a joyful catechist. Oh, I also authored a dozen books, two under my pen name of Mahlou (Blest Atheist and A Believer-in-Waiting's First Encounters with God).
Oh, wherever you are, I hope that you are taking time for yourself!
